London, United Kingdom - October - Zebu Live 2025 comes to a close, having hosted its most ambitious event to date with over 4500 attendees and a similar number of virtual participants.
The two-day summit hosted more than 200 speakers and 500 partners, including keynote speeches from Nigel Farage, Leader of Reform UK; Tom Duff Gordon, Vice President of International Policy at Coinbase; and Joey Garcia, Executive Director of Xapo Bank.
Major sponsors and partners included Coinbase, Solana, Concordium, Alkimi, and Andersen LLP, further cementing Zebu Live as the fulcrum of the Web3 innovation landscape and institutional value.
The event featured speakers and panels on topics such as Intelligence Onchain, Beyond Digital Gold, Builders & Backers, Code vs Law, and From Protocol to Product, providing opportunities for the attendees to discuss how the interaction between blockchain, policy, and infrastructure will change.
The growing institutional presence in crypto was apparent, as Bitwise’s Head of Europe, Bradley Duke, articulated how corporate treasuries and institutional investors are beginning to think about digital assets as a hedge against currency debasement and for long-term growth. "We are witnessing the true institutionalization of blockchain," Duke stated during his keynote. “Corporate treasuries, ETFs, and regulated products are now beginning to form the structural backbone of crypto markets.”
In another sign of institutional interest, Rayls ("the bank for blockchain") successfully raised over $1.75 million through a public sale on Republic, demonstrating not only a growing appetite for institutional-grade blockchain products and infrastructure.
Echo (UK) also signals increasing sophistication in the market; Echo was acquired by Coinbase in a transaction involving Andersen LLP's digital asset team, emphasizing a connection between traditional advisory firms and Web3, and indicating growing institutional understanding of the strength of the UK's blockchain ecosystem.

To add to the excitement, Brian Armstrong, the CEO of Coinbase, called out the event on social media and expressed mutual approval to Zebu Live and the Stand With Crypto initiative, all while acknowledging the UK's growing role in forging forward-facing Web3 regulations and innovation.
